Ongoing semantic wiki discussion
Semantic wikis are under constant evolution and have started to fade into enterprise and commercial applications. In order to exchange ideas and discuss future developments of semantic wikis (especially Semantic MediaWiki), we have set up a regular virtual meeting. The meetings can be seen as a successor of the Semantic Wiki mini series hosted by Ontolog, where people from ontoprise also gave some presentations and talks.
The meetings are open for any kind of topic related to semantic wikis such as Semantic MediaWiki. Contributions and talks cover e.g.
- Latest research achievements and directions
- User and market requirements
- Development plans
- Technical and collaboration issues
So far four discussion sessions took place, involving people from research, academia and business covering miscellaneous topics. If you are interested in participating in such a session, just drop a quick note to Philipp (from Ontoprise).
The meeting is scheduled to take place the first Thursday of every month and is held via Skype.
