WYSIWYG Editor. The WYSIWYG editor, allowing users to easily create rich texts, has been enhanced in a couple of ways. It now provides the possibility to directly tag and embed media files, such as documents, images, videos and audio files into wiki pages. The semantic tagging possibilities help you to preserve the file's context and organize your files appropriatley. This way you can e.g. query for all PDF files belonging to a certain wiki page, which were uploaded by a specific person. Another highlight is the convenient insertion of semantic queries. Simply invoke the graphical query interface from within the WYSIWYG editor and create your customized queries with a few mouse clicks. Hence, the WYSIWYG editor is now the ultimate tool for composing nicely rendered wiki pages blending static rich texts and dynamic data stemming from semantic queries. Finally, the WYSIWYG editor can now also be used in free text entry fields within forms. |

New path search feature of the Enhanced Retrieval search engine. A new feature called 'Path Search' was integrated into the Enhance Retrieval search engine. This feature allows you to discover (in-)direct relations between entered search terms, based on the ontology. This is e. g. helpful if you to know if tasks are related to each other (e.g. because they are being worked on by the same person) or certain organizations are linked to each other (e. g. because of a common project). |

New visualisations for query results and improved QueryInterface. The QueryInterface, a tool for easily querying the semantic tags provides new result printers for creating informative charts like: pie- and bar-charts, google-maps, eventline and exhibit. Also, the query interface has been enhanced with an intelligent auto-completion. After having specified a category condition, the system first suggests only those properties which fit to the selected categories (based on domain constraints). |

Data Import extension. The web service and data integration capabilities have been bundled into a new module called 'Data Import extension' This extension enables users to integrate external data into the wiki in two different ways. First, the Data Import Extension allows to call external SOAP or RESTful web services from within the wiki. Second, the Term Import framework component allows to import the terms of a vocabulary or other structured data (e.g. from CSV or XML files) into the wiki. Take a look at the various integration scenarios and use cases enabled by this extension at our web service demo wiki or dive into examples of web service calls for your wiki in our library of examples. |
